I got laid off from a job I have worked at for seventeen years. Talk about a wake up call. I had to make a decision. I could go back into the job force or......?
This is about that "call". I love to write, uummm, content for web pages? I love to paint and take photographs, uuummmm, images for web pages? I love to solve problems and then teach other people...BAMMMM, website design .
This was not as easy decision for me. Over the last five years, I've lost more than eighty percent of my hearing. I am legally deaf. So I can't teach people face to face like I used to.
My main forms of communication are internet and my text phone. I tried the tty, but everyone in my family uses text cell phones. Having a land line just for tty was not an option for me. I have family from Washinton to Maine, California, Florida, and Japan. You can see why I love the internet so much.
